Started in 1983, Kalamazoo Banner Works was amongst the first companies to create vertically-aligned street pole banners and to market them internationally. Now, almost 30 years later, the company’s growth has led to a French version of their website in an attempt to better serve their growing international market.

The French version of the site mirrors its English counterpart and provides simple browsing and concise information with plenty of graphics to paint a clear picture of product offerings for consumers. From strong written content, to vivid pictures, informative videos and thorough FAQs, any questions about banners or banner brackets can be answered by visiting their website where they specialize in banner brackets, or as it is translated in French, supports de fixation de bannières.

Kalamazoo Banner Works can be found at 2129 Portage St. in Kalamazoo, Mich. The company, founded by Roger Lepley, architect and president of Kalamazoo Banner Works, sells banners and banner hardware. In addition to offering customizable banners that are screen printed or digitally printed and banner brackets, Kalamazoo Banner works was the first company to develop BannerFlex. BannerFlex is a type of banner hardware that dissipates wind force using fiberglass technology. This product line, designed for highly windy areas, can withstand up to 100 mph gusts.

The success of Kalamazoo Banner Works led to the formation of Consort Display Group, a design and manufacturing company in Kalamazoo, Mich. In addition to Kalamazoo Banner Works, ventures of Consort Display Group include DisplayONE, Abstracta, Dori Pole and Podia. DisplayONE offers trade show displays and exhibit booths; Abstracta provides space frame and store fixturing systems as well as furniture that includes personal tables, cigar tables and cube tables; Dori Pole are tall nylon pennant flags; and Podia specializes in double-sided tabletop displays useful for restaurant menus and promotions or advertising special events.
