Portland, OR (PRWEB) November 12, 2012
FMYI [for my innovation], a leading provider of private social networks and collaboration software for project management, contact tracking and calendar sharing, announces the release of Social Sign In. A social angle that sets FMYI apart and is not available on competing systems such as Basecamp, Huddle, Yammer and Salesforce, this feature gives users the ability to sign into their FMYI account with just one click via one of four social networks. Social sign in will not push sensitive information from FMYI collaboration sites to a user's social network account.
In a study conducted with nearly 400 participants, 48% used more than five different passwords (http://www.engr.sjsu.edu/amoallem/publications/HCII2011_didYou_67700029.pdf). Signing into FMYI via a social network means people do not have to remember yet another username and password combination. FMYI users can sign in with either their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Google account. Signing into your favorite collaboration tool has never been easier.
Follow these four simple steps to connect a social network with your existing FMYI account:
Or visit http://www.fmyi.com to sign up for an FMYI account. More information about how to connect, what happens in the process, and how to stay secure can be found here: http://innovate.fmyi.com/social-sign-in
This newest Social Sign In feature is the latest in a string of efforts FMYI has made to reduce the barrier to entry for collaboration and simplify the experience. The ability to reply to email alerts and have the response automatically saved in the site, access to a mobile web interface, configure a vast array of admin options, and free support are just a few of the standard privileges of an FMYI collaboration site.
