Personal Injury Law Firm Offers No Win - No Fee Promise For Clients injured from Wellburtin, which has been linked to seizures, worsening symptoms of depression, and has been illegally promoted for its off-label uses.

The Personal Injury Lawyers at d'Oliveira & Associates are currently seeking clients who have suffered from seizures and worsening depression symptoms while taking the anti-depressant drug Wellbutrin. The firm is working with some of the leading Wellbutrin lawyers in the country and are offering a "no win, no fee promise" to those individuals and families, which means that there will be no fee charged unless and until the client receives a settlement or award.

Also known as Buporpion, Wellbutrin is marketed by the GlaxoSmithKline, LLC and is a popular drug used to treat depression. According to the Wall Street Journal, belonging to a class of anti-depressant drugs known as Selective Serotonin & Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SSNRIs), Wellburtin has been associated with causing worsening symptoms of depression. Additionally, Wellbutrin has been linked to its patients experiencing seizures.

Manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline recently came under fire from the U.S. Justice Department for promoting Wellbutrin for off-label uses. The medical publication, Dynamo Chiropractic, reported that Glaxo had been lavishly reimbursing doctors to promote and approve the off-label uses, as well as incorporating "sham" advisory boards and studies to promote the off-label use of Wellbutrin. While only approved by The U.S. Food and Drug Administration for treatment for depression, Glaxo sought to promote Wellbutrin for the treatment of weightless, sexual dysfunction, substance addictions, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The Justice Department investigated Glaxo for its practice in misleading the public about Wellbutrin and other products' uses. Recently, The Wall Street Journal reported that GlaxoSmithKline plead guilty to the criminal charges of illegally marketing the drug and for failing to disclose safety data to U.S. regulators. Glaxo's $3 billion settlement is considered on of the largest in health-care fraud history.

Attorney Paul d’Oliveira stated that “the facts of this case is one of the worst I have seen of corporate misconduct by a pharmaceutical company in a long time. I am amazed that a company would do the things Glaxo did because they wanted to increase their sales. People have to be made aware of what some of these Big Pharma Companies are trying to get away with. I hope and pray that the victims of this dangerous drug all bring claims and make Glaxo pay for their awful behavior.”

If you or a loved on has suffered any of the side effects while taking Wellbutrin or while relying on the company's false statements, the attorneys at d'Oliveira & Associates want you to know that you may be entitled to compensation. Working with the leading dangerous drug and Wellbutrin attorneys handling these cases, d'Oliveira & Associates wants to not only ensure that you are offered the legal represenation you deserve, but to also tell you that there is a "No Win, No Fee Promise" for your claim.
