Something would surely be amiss this holiday season if the dining-room table were without a steaming basket of flaky, airy, buttery, and mouth-watering biscuits. This holiday season consumers can rest assured that, with the help of Gagné Foods, a family owned frozen foods manufacturer from Maine, they will be able to serve biscuits that will change the standard of what their guests think a biscuit should be. Robinhood Meetinghouse, a Gagné Foods brand known for their scrumptious Cream Cheese Biscuits, pastries, and petite pies, are now selling their famous biscuit varieties, Pecan Sticky Buns and Cinnamon Rolls with expanded distribution for the upcoming holiday season via Whole Foods markets and specialty food stores in select regions.

“The holidays are prime time for our business and distribution. Biscuits are a staple at the holiday dinner table, and ours – thanks to our special recipe that features a unique layering and folding process – are a surefire bet for the consumer looking for a wholesome, easy-prep addition to their bread baskets,” says Founder of Gagné Foods, Michael Gagné. “Thousands of people have enjoyed our products at fine restaurants for years, and now under the Robinhood Meetinghouse brand, home cooks are able to serve our incredibly delicious biscuits and pastries to their friends and families this holiday season.”

The Gagne family began their venture into the baked goods industry over 30 years ago when Maine-based chef Michael Gagné was inspired to challenge the recipe for a traditional southern biscuit. Using the French baking technique of sheeting and laminating the dough (similar to how a puff pastry is made), Chef Gagné created biscuits with a flaky and cloud-like texture not achieved with other biscuit recipes. Years later, the Cream Cheese Biscuits are still being made true to Chef Gagné’s signature recipe, with the recent addition of new products and flavors to the Robinhood Meetinghouse line.

Consumers can look for Robinhood Meetinghouse and their newest biscuit varieties in the regions and store locations listed below:

“The biscuits are a cinch to make, I just pop them in the oven after I take the turkey out and bake them while it’s resting, and in about 20 minutes they’re ready to serve. The timing is perfect for a busy kitchen with a taxed oven,” added Chef Gagné.
