Shared Sorrows Remembers Our Veterans

Shared Sorrows.com expert BJ Stewart says, "The need in military families is great and too many veterans fall through the cracks. In light of Veterans Day, SharedSorrows.com is holding a special opportunity for friends and families to contribute the life stories of veterans they've lost as well as those they would like to honor."

Remember Our Veterans

Every dollar contributed will be used to assist needy veterans and memorialize their service to our country.

El Paso, TX (PRWEB) November 12, 2012

There is a common misperception that the funeral expenses of US veterans are fully paid by the US government according to SharedSorrows.com’s BJ Stewart, himself a veteran. “We launched Shared Sorrows to assist anyone who has lost a loved one, but we have been shocked and saddened as we have received calls from the families of some veterans. They simply do not have the resources to pay for a proper tribute for their loved one,” Stewart said. “We are a new venture and we cannot pay for all funeral expenses, but if a few Americans will step in and help, we can provide the families of veterans with a number of services including:

"Funeral Planning and Financial Counseling services to help bereaved families make wise decisions and maximize every dollar.

"Funeral fund raising through our CareFund™ to generate funds from family & friends to help cover funeral expenses.

"Professional writing services to help the family capture the life stories of these valiant heroes.

“Every dollar contributed will be used to assist needy veterans and memorialize their service to our country,” Stewart said. "Your donation can help meet these needs, honor our veterans and preserve their legacies this Veteran’s Day."
