Whether it be the best of times or the worst of times, abundant riches or the depth of poverty, health or sickness; the purpose of life is to give glory to God

Author Wil Tustin combines historical fact with fictional elements to tell the story of a biblical figure, Paul the Apostle. With riveting adventures throughout the book, he reveals how Paul’s life influenced the world in the new novel “Ambushed” (published by AuthorHouse).

Paul was a criminal, terrorist and murderer. After he was ambushed, he went from persecutor to being persecuted and from taking life to giving life. When historians list the most important men and women, Paul is frequently mentioned as the second most influential person to have ever lived.

Paul’s life was filled with endless highs and lows. “Ambushed” looks at how he dealt with success, hardships and unforeseen consequences. His response to these events enabled him to become an outstanding student, stimulating teacher and persistent encourager. His life had a lasting impact on how people make decisions and treat others.

Tustin says of his book:

“A lot of outstanding books have been written on the life of Paul the Apostle; the likes of John Polhill, FF Bruce, and John Pollock. They are great books with an abundance of biblical insights and understanding. This book is written in first person and tells how one’s impact on humanity isn’t measured by cultural acceptance, but our lasting impact on civilization. This storytelling approach is filled with practical insights and applications for 21st century humanity.”

“Whether it be the best of times or the worst of times, abundant riches or the depth of poverty, health or sickness; the purpose of life is to give glory to God.”
