Now more than ever, the Modern Mystic’s duty is to: think sustainably, act locally, support globally, and respond universally
Cocoa, FL (PRWEB) November 13, 2012
The new book, “Survival Manual for the Modern Mystic” (published by Balboa Press), is intended to answer questions that often are raised by people on a spiritual path—people author Linda Silk calls “Modern Mystics.”
"Modern Mystics are everyday, common people in different stages of their spiritual quests," Silk writes. They often practice various healing modalities, share concern for the planet and its inhabitants, and are curious about what steps they can take to make a difference.
“Survival Manual for the Modern Mystic” answers dozens of questions challenging today’s thinkers about topics from global warming, to reducing contaminants in our households, to the range of predictions about the end of the Mayan Calendar– which many believe forecasts December 21, 2012, as the “end of civilization." Silk puts her own spin on not only what will come at year's end, but also how Modern Mystics can help bring it about.
Silk shares her own experiences and offers practical and spiritual information, as well as reliable approaches, to help readers become successful participants in the new Golden Age. She discusses topics such as healing various levels of one’s being, healing the planet, and the future of the human race. She describes humanity’s essential purpose at this time as a mission to "work together to change the very fabric of our collective experience.”
“Now more than ever, the Modern Mystic’s duty is to: think sustainably, act locally, support globally, and respond universally.”
