Stalking is a serious crime and can have a devastating effect on the target. It is a very common crime and in a lot of cases the victim knows the abuser, it can often be a previous lover

(PRWEB UK) 18 November 2012

The Holby City star was close to suicide when she was being sent threating and hateful emails and tweets. Actress Rosie Marcel was targeted by Sarah Rumbelow, who was jailed for two and a half years after admitting putting a person in fear of violence by harassment. The 21 year old has been diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.

Rosie feels she has her boyfriend to thank for getting her through the ordeal and has nothing but praise for him. Rosie is now demanding that more should be done to social networking stalkers and she said

“We should take trolling seriously. Such bullying is destroying people’s lives”
