Hurricane Sandy, projected to be one of the costliest natural disasters in US history, has left the eastern United States and parts of Canada with billions of dollars in damage. The heavy rain and over 120mph winds were a lot to handle for any solar mounting system, particularly those that are non-penetrating. KB RACKING had over 50 non-penetrating project sites hit by the hurricane, all of which remained intact and damage-free.
KB RACKING's COO Peter Aulich comments, "We put safety first and custom design all of our systems for the local weather requirements. Our racking systems have never been affected by harsh weather conditions and Hurricane Sandy was no exception. All of our projects in the hurricane's path, including those in the installation phase, did not shift on the roof and remain in perfect condition."
KB RACKING would like to extend a helping hand to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts by making donations to both the Canadian and American Red Cross Organizations. Our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy, we wish them a safe and fast recovery.
