Ecommerce Leader Grows Customer Base by over 50 percent, Welcomes Third Board of Directors Member and General Counsel and Introduces New Product Additions

-Added 158 new roles since Q1 2012, with employees coming from top companies like Google, Groupon, Zynga and Apple.

-Brought on Vice President of Information Technology, Steve Krebsbach, to lead the IT and Operations teams. Krebsbach will be responsible for engineering and operating Volusion’s robust cloud infrastructure and ensuring the organization exceeds its Service Level Agreements.

-Hired Derek Willis as General Counsel. Willis was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a law firm that has, over the past 25 years, represented more technology companies in their IPO than any other law firm in the country.

-Appointed the third Board of Directors member, Timothy J. Barker. Barker is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for RealPage, Inc., a leading provider of on demand software and software-enabled services to the rental housing industry, and brings over 17 years of experience. In his time as a public-company CFO, he has been responsible for building infrastructure for SEC disclosure requirements, financial planning and analysis, accounting, revenue growth strategies, financial transactions and enhancing liquidity.

-Doubled its IT staff over the course of the year 2012. These individuals are dedicated solely to the security and performance of Volusion stores.

-Recognized by Austin American Statesman and Austin Business Journal as a Top Workplace in Austin.

-Currently occupying over 75,000-square-feet of office space.

-Plans to hire 125 new employees across all departments in Development, IT Operations, Product Management, QA, Accounting, Customer Experience, Development, HR,Sales and Services in 2013.

-Searching for a Chief Financial Officer to evolve financial strategy and position Volusion for the future.

-Successfully increased the total network capacity by 10 times which resulted in measurable improvements in stability and reliability with up to a 33 percent lift in site performance.
