We are so pleased that AAA has provided CHLA with a generous donation to produce and install the graphics needed to create an impactful event.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 12, 2012
On October 20, 2012, Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) held their annual Noches de Ninos event at LA Live, a fundraiser for the Children's Oncology Ward. This black-tie, star-studded night boasted more than just big names; it generated a tremendous response from donors--over 2.6 million dollars. In recognition of the cause, AAA Flag & Banner donated the stage backdrop and other venue graphics, creating a magical night for all in attendance.
Perhaps as a nod to Disney, an honored guest that night, event organizers chose the theme "Enchanted Forest." CHLA utilized the time, materials, and professional services of AAA Flag & Banner to achieve stunning results. AAA Flag & Banner's wall graphics turned what was originally a plain, white tent into a truly enchanted venue at LA Live. Behind presenters and musicians rose the silhouettes of graceful trees, backlit by a bluish-purple glow. Though producing custom, large-scale graphics is generally routine for AAA Flag & Banner, for CHLA they especially wanted to create "a magical environment" that would contribute "to a brighter future for all."
More than a thousand guests--whose tickets started at $1,000--enjoyed the atmosphere of the fundraising event. Among the guests were the individuals and corporations receiving awards for their support of CHLA. Honorees included TV personality Heidi Klum, sports entertainment mogul Tim Leiweke, and NBA player Pau Gasol. CHLA also honored the Walt Disney Company with the Corporate Courage to Care Award for their contribution of volunteers, Disney-character visits, financial gifts, and other forms of assistance.
In acknowledgement of AAA Flag & Banner's support of the event, a CHLA spokesman stated, "We are so pleased that AAA has provided CHLA with a generous donation to produce and install the graphics needed to create an impactful event." A partner of CHLA for more than decade, AAA Flag & Banner donated everything "in support of the hospital and the work provided to thousands of children annually.
The idea for Noches de Ninos, or Night of the Children, originated from an 11 year-old boy named Dustin Meraz. As a cancer patient himself, Dustin hoped that he could inspire adults to care about and support children who face the struggles of cancer. The funds raised for CHLA will benefit young cancer patients and their families, regardless of ability to pay.
