Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 13, 2012
Pittsburgh attorney and CPA James Lange announced today that John C. Bogle, founder of The Vanguard Group, will be the special guest on Lange’s KQV 1410AM radio show. The initial airing of the Bogle/Lange interview will take place November 28, 2012, at 7:05 p.m. Re-airing will occur the following Sunday, December 2nd at 9:05 a.m. Thereafter, the sound file and transcript will be available on the Lange Money Hour archives (http://www.paytaxeslater.com).
“I am pleased to invite my friends, clients and the general public to submit their questions in advance of the show,” said Lange, who has hosted the Lange Money Hour radio show for over three years. “This is an unprecedented opportunity for them to ask industry giant, John Bogle, their most pressing investment and retirement questions and to get advice and recommendations from the founder of the largest mutual fund company in the world.”
ABOUT THE SHOW
“Over the years, The Lange Money Hour has hosted a number of industry greats including Ed Slott, Roger Ibbotson, Natalie Choate, Jane Bryant Quinn, and more. This November, however, I’ll have the opportunity to interview a man who was named along with Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch, and George Soros by Fortune magazine as one of the investment industry’s four Giants of the 20th Century: Mr. John C. Bogle. With a guest this special, I’ve decided to give my audience the opportunity to interview Mr. Bogle themselves,” Lange said.
Lange has issued an open invitation: Submit your questions in advance and he will pose the questions to Mr. Bogle during The Lange Money Hour. To submit a question, go to http://www.paytaxeslater.com and click the ASK John Bogle button. Questions must be submitted by Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
“Whether you submit a question or not, if you go to http://www.paytaxeslater.com, you can click on the Ask John Bogle button and my office will email you a link to the sound file of the Q&A radio session after it airs,” Lange said. “In addition, they will provide you with a written transcript so that you can refer to it as needed and desired. As video clips and other educational content are produced, participants who sign up using the Ask John Bogle button will be the first to know.”
Bogle has written ten books. According to Lange, Bogle is widely known as “the greatest champion of low-cost index funds on the planet.” Bogle’s most recent book, The Clash of the Cultures: Investment vs. Speculation (Wiley, 2012) examines the current investment culture that favors speculation and self interest of corporate management and mutual fund managers as opposed to sound low cost investments for the benefit of the investing public. Bogle also sheds light on the dramatic consequences of the conflict of interest between management and the people they are supposed to be representing, the shareholders. “But, much more than an indictment of some of our problems,” said Lange, “Bogle also provides Ten Simple Rules for Investors. Bogle’s new book and the Ten Simple Rules for Investors will be the focal point of The Lange Money Hour show in November.”
