Mombasa, Kenya (PRWEB) November 13, 2012
Last Thursday the new aircraft landed safely in Nairobi’s Wilson Airport after a long journey from the United States. The plane was newly built at Cessna in Wichita and is added to the existing fleet of another Grand Caravan and a Cessna 206 that was acquired early October. The journey of the new aircraft is truly remarkable. It departed from the Cessna factory heading to Florida before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to Spain. It then followed the Mediterranean Sea to Greece before heading South to Egypt, and past the African Coast to Saudi Arabia. The last leg then took the ferry crew from Jeddah over Ethiopia to Kenya, where the aircraft touched down in Nairobi at eleven o’clock Thursday morning.
The aircraft is fitted with eight luxury leather seats that can move into every direction, headsets for each passenger as well as an individual display for flight information for each passenger. The avionics are top of the art and currently include the most modern technology that is available in general and business aviation.
The new aircraft will open up new opportunities for Severin Air Safaris. A new guided air safari itinerary will be launched early next year to cover the northern part of Kenya in addition to the already existing southern circuit. The new camps include Karen Blixen Camp in the Masai Mara, Loisaba Lodge at Loisaba Conservency and Chui Lodge / Kiangazi Lodge in Naivasha. All the aircraft are also available for private charter flights to any destination in Kenya and surrounding countries.
Interested parties can now contact Severin Air Safaris to receive more information about the product and to book their seats on one of the weekly scenic air safari departures.
