DuVine Adventures, a luxury bike tour operator, earned awards for Best Special Interest Product and Most Creative on Social Media at the French Affairs event in Austin, Texas on October 21, 2012. French Affairs, an annual event organized by the French government’s tourism office, ATOUT France, brings French suppliers together with U.S. tour operators who sell France as a travel destination.
Andy Levine, President and Founder of DuVine, says the awards are confirmation of hard work by the DuVine team. “It was humbling and an honor to accept the two awards upon everyone's behalf,” said Levine. “I wish everyone could have been there. I gave the DuVine team a big thank you for their dedication and focus.”
The Best Special Interest Product award recognizes DuVine among over 100 U.S. tour operators for their originality in creating a product that is unique in its marketplace. The Social Media award recognizes the company’s efforts to stay cutting edge and connected with interesting and pertinent content.
“The French government and tourism leaders are telling us something that our guests have known for a long time,” says Levine. Since 1996, DuVine Adventures has been enriching lives through authentic travel experiences. The company mission DuVine is committed to seeking out the very best in everything for our guests, from the big picture down to the smallest detail. Our ultimate goal is to consistently amaze, surprise, and delight our guests with unparalleled experiences, outrageously satisfying food and drink, and a myriad of thoughtful touches. Everything we do is driven by a spirit of fun and adventure that permeates every trip, and we believe strongly in the tenets of DuVine Style: Live each day to its fullest, bike for the best experience, and never forget to stop and smell the flowers – or taste the wine!
Though DuVine is honored by the recognition, Levine says they will continue to push themselves and strive to maintain their status as industry leaders. “I do believe that we have some of the coolest, most diverse products in France, and I believe 100% that we have the best social media content plan,” said Levine. “But our continued daily focus will be to consistently lead the way with innovation, reputation and integrity in the industry.”
The two-day French Affairs event has been held annually since 2003. The aim of the meeting is to encourage discussion, build synergy, and inspire new ideas for the future of travel in France. This year's meeting was held at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa in Austin from October 20-22, 2012.
