International engineering, procurement, and construction firm, Burrow Global, LLC (Burrow), today announced organizational enhancements in the wake of steady growth and success throughout 2012. The new management structure prepares the company for substantial growth in 2013 while adding key individuals to assure safety, quality and value in execution.

Aggressive Growth Strategy

In Houston since 1978, Burrow Global Companies have grown in the last two years to include nine domestic offices (Beaumont, Houston, Deer Park, Pasadena, Port Arthur, Mont Belvieu, Crystal City, Henderson, Texas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and two fabrication facilities in Crystal City and Henderson) Burrow is a global player in the provision of engineering and construction services for industrial clients and specializes in process automation, industrial buildings, plant commissioning, start-up, operations and turnaround management.

Sustained growth from 640 employees in the fourth quarter of 2011 to 850 in the third quarter of 2012 has allowed Burrow to invest in new systems and training to further optimize project delivery. Burrow plans to grow to more than 1,200 employees by mid-2013.

Strategic Organizational Changes

Burrow’s management has added several key positions in preparation for the avalanche of growth coming in 2013. The company is rapidly evolving from its initial growth phase to a successful operating company. Furthermore, these changes enable core personnel to manage and oversee larger project awards seamlessly using the Burrow Global virtual engineering office between Beaumont, Houston, Deer Park and Port Arthur, Texas.

Burrow Welcomes New Management

R.D. (David) Muse, P.E., CEO, Burrow Global Services
In keeping with Burrow’s owner/operator mindset, Mr. Muse brings more than 40 years of experience to Burrow, with 32 years of experience with ExxonMobil Development Corporation. Recently David served as COO for SGC Energia, a privately held Bio-fuels Company, leading project development, asset management activities, organizational development and creation of Operations and Maintenance strategy for commercial scale biomass to liquids and coal to liquids facilities planned at several locations worldwide. David’s extensive experience in building new organizations and international project execution provides Burrow the strong leadership to deliver superior quality through significant growth cycle and multi-office execution.

Dave Hill, President, Burrow Global Services
Mr. Hill brings with him 30 years of engineering and construction experience in operations and marketing. His primary objective is to ensure seamless operations between the Burrow Global engineering offices. A benefit to Burrow’s rapid growth and evolving corporate culture, Mr. Hill's background includes managing similar rapid growth patterns and objectives in his previous positions.

Jeff Schiller, Senior Vice President Professional Services, Burrow Global Services
Schiller adds 26 years of owner/operator and engineering service company experience in the chemicals, specialty chemicals, petrochemical and refinery markets to Burrow’s team. His leadership experience includes major capital, international project execution as well as engineering company ownership. Schiller spent more than 20 years with Nalco Company, giving him valuable insight into Burrow’s owner/operator mindset and ensuring better communication with clients.

Nigel James, President, Burrow Global Automation
After spending more than a decade in the chemical refining industry, Mr. James founded his own automation consulting firm, James Consulting Company, in 1995. His firm was bought and merged into Mangan Inc. in 2002. He has since served as President of Mangan Inc. and as President of Mangan Gulf Coast from 2007 to present. With significant experience as an owner/operator, James is familiar with the challenges facing Burrow Global customers. James has improved the service profile of Burrow Global through his intricate knowledge of PlantscapeTM, PIM’s, Process Logix and best practices for data security and migration.

Olan Weeks, P.E., Executive Vice President, Burrow Global Automation
Starting in the US Navy at the age of 17, Weeks earned an Electrical Engineering Degree from Lamar University and has worked in the automation arena ever since. He has 45 years of experience in corporate management, engineering, construction, and project management. A major portion of Mr. Weeks’ career has been spent in the successful project management of large DCS/SIS/PLC automation projects in the range of $100 to $200 million dollars. He also successfully managed Petrocon/ENGlobal Systems for many years.

Dennis Knoop, PE, President, Industrial Buildings Division, Burrow Global Services
As CEO and founder of Demar, Burrow’s platform acquisition team, Mr. Knoop established a reputation for superb safety, quality and value of design-build industrial buildings throughout Texas for over 30 years. His goal as President of Burrow’s industrial buildings division is to build on this reputation and expand the business unit throughout the southwest and southeast United States.

Buster Burnett, Vice President, Industrial Buildings Division, Burrow Global Services
Mr. Burnett is a veteran of the industrial buildings sector with more than 34 years of experience. His specialties include blast resistant buildings, design/build projects, blast hardening projects and plant services work. Burnett has always focused on the importance of safety and brings that mindset to all of his project work.

Jim Austin, VP Administrative Services, Burrow Global
Mr. Austin manages core corporate support for Burrow Global. Health, Safety and Environmental, Human Resources, Procurement and Information Technology are under his leadership. His background includes a career in the US Air Force and working as COO for a construction company where he had P&L responsibility for five separate corporations; Land Development, Engineering, Surveying, Sheetmetal, Roof and Truss, Heavy Equipment and an accounting division. His experience in managing administrative functions will facilitate Burrow’s growth model.
