The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel’s Inspirations of the Season will have guests relaxing by the Pacific Ocean for the holiday. The ocean-front resort offers special experiences and activities for a perfect holiday getaway. From storytelling with Santa and Teddy Bear Tea to the FantaSeaLand Gingerbread Spectacular, there is something for every member of the family.

The Inspirations of the Season holiday package includes:

Inspirations of the Season is valid through January 2, 2013 with rates starting at $450 USD per night.

Seasonal Experiences and Activities
Guests and the local community are invited to the 28th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 18 at 4 p.m. The celebration includes festive music performed by The Jeeps and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.

Guests can also enjoy the gingerbread display created by the resort’s pastry team. More than 400 hours will go in to creating the amazing gingerbread display that will highlight a Holiday "FantaSeaLand" Spectacular. The display is made from gingerbread, sugar cubes, waffles, pretzels, cream puffs, rolls, cookies, crackers, cereal, macaroons, dried fruit, chocolate shavings, candy, candy and more candy.

Guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Holiday Tea. Served Monday through Thursday; November 26 through December 20 at 2 p.m. Tea is $49 per person.

Holiday Story Telling is offered Friday and Saturday, December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 from 5 to 6 p.m. where children can enjoy holiday tales in the Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment Indoor Learning Center. A visit from Santa is a highlight.

Teddy Bear Tea is available Sunday, December 9 and 16 at 10 a.m. This festive tradition continues with hot chocolate "tea" served with a selection of pastries and finger sandwiches. In celebration of the "Season of Giving," guests are requested to bring an unwrapped teddy bear to be donated to Children's Hospital of Orange County. Teddy Bear Tea is $65 per person and reservations are required.

The resort’s furry friends can celebrate at the Happy Howl-iday Yappy Hour on Saturday, December 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This gathering of canines and their companions provides Fido with the opportunity to be photographed with the “Big Dog” himself – Santa Claus. Photos with Santa are $10 per canine. Guests are asked to bring unopened canned or dry dog food, treats or dog toys to be donated to the Shelter. These items will provide support and comfort to the canines that have not yet found forever families and will be celebrating the holiday season at the Shelter.

In celebration of the giving season, the resort is collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, toys, books and stuffed animals to be donated to local Orange County charities including the Orange County Rescue Mission, Miracles for Kids and Children’s Hospital Orange County. In return, the resort will give guests the gift of an Anniversary Card that provides fifteen percent value in the resort’s restaurants, spa and retail shops, as well as complimentary day valet parking. The Season of Giving is part of The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel’s Community Footprints program that was created to encourage leadership in volunteerism, fundraising, product donations and mentoring programs at a local level. No project is considered too large or too small.
