The advent of internet technology has vastly changed the way things are done. In the past, it would take days, sometimes months, for letters to arrive in someone’s doorstep. Now, with a simple click of a mouse and in a matter of seconds millions of messages could be sent through the electronic mail system. Of the overwhelming number of e-mails sent every day, are messages that have changed lives, brought laughter and warmed hearts. In her book, PLEASE FORWARD: Do Not Delete, author Lynne Gleason shares a collection of some of the funniest, wildest and most inspiring messages she received in her email inbox.

Just like everyone else, Gleason received numerous e-mails from her email buddies. After forwarding them to her other friends, she kept them all in her inbox until her best friend of 40 years, Dorothy, inspired her to compile all of them and share them to the world. Thus, PLEASE FORWARD: Do Not Delete was born.

Made available through Xlibris, PLEASE FORWARD: Do Not Delete is a compilation of all Gleason’s favorite e-mail jokes and stories which have been anonymously passed and received over the electronic mail system to computers across the country. These messages will make the recipient think, smile, laugh, and relax even for just a few minutes.

By turns witty, inspiring and hilarious, PLEASE FORWARD: Do Not Delete is a testament to the innovative human spirit and a portrait of life, in all its absurdities and joys.

This book will be featured at the 2012 Illinois Library Association Book Exhibit in Peoria, Ill. on October 9-12, 2012 and at the California Library Association Book Exhibit in San Jose, Calif. on November 2-4, 2012.
