About the Author
Growing up in the small Southern California town of Covina, Carol Ann Young spent a great deal of time with her sister, Linda Lee, on their grandparent’s ranch. She married at the age of 18 and after many years as a stay-at-home mom raising her children, she learned to fly an airplane and became a flight instructor. She is currently preparing to participate in the Air Race Classic, a women’s transcontinental air race. This is her story.
