EventOrb is currently used by users from over 40 countries and in all 50 states for all types of events ranging from webinars to nightclub parties.

Event marketing website -- EventOrb recently unveiled a revamped version of its website to the public. The company consolidates several event marketing tools such as ticket-sales, registration-form creation, email blasts, venue, photo and video management etc. EventOrb recently relocated to downtown Chicago and has been helping event organizers and marketers manage their events since its inception in 2008.

Some of the major updates in this release were a feature-rich drag-and-drop form builder that event organizers can use to collect and validate information from their attendees. Another significant update was the addition of a ticket-sales system, which allows users to create and sell tickets to their events. Event organizers can create various ticket categories and prices that go on sale at different times. EventOrb’s ticket sales system is currently in a beta release and is available for use only by invitation. Once it’s made public, the site hopes to charge a low flat rate per ticket sold.

In explaining its recent pivot, the company’s founder - Jonathan Awotwi stated, “For the most part, the current online-event management experience is fragmented for event organizers. Most event managers have to use multiple sites to handle different aspects of their events - EventOrb is trying to change that by consolidating several features, both on its site and by tapping into the API’s of existing players in the event space”

Some of the API’s the company is currently using are the Meetup, Eventbrite and Eventful Web-services to help it’s visitors search from a greater pool of events, and the YouTube service to allow organizers to share videos relevant to their events. The company also lives up to its vision of a centralized event management hub by allowing organizers to link tickets from other websites to their event -- despite providing a homegrown ticket-sales solution.

EventOrb also took steps with this current release to support venue management, by allowing venue owners to list their venues on the site. The site’s news-feed also helps users track a venue’s timeline of events.

EventOrb is currently used by users from over 40 countries and in all 50 states for all types of events ranging from webinars to nightclub parties. The site is used by individuals and organizations from different backgrounds including event planners, bands, solo-performers, tour companies and venue owners.
