AVID travellers can discover the unique attractions of Sri Lanka on a new itinerary in 2013 offered by Escape Travel that maps out a path to a tea plantation, cinnamon farm, elephant orphanage and jungle reserve.

Escape Travel is has released this 13-day trip, led by Wendy Wu Tours, which departs Australia on March 23, 2013 and travels to Negombo Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, St Clair’s Falls, Galle, Bentota and Colombo.

Along the way, highlights include an open top jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park and visiting baby elephants at Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, as well as a journey by boat through the Madu Ganga Wetlands and the Buddhist temples in Colombo.

The trip is priced from $4465* per person twin share and includes a return economy flight from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth to Sri Lanka, all meals and accommodation, entrance fees, daily tours, transport, a national tour escort and English speaking local guides.

Airfare fuel surcharges, departure taxes and tipping is included in the price.

The trip departs on March 23, 2013 and is available for sale until January 23, 2013 unless sold out prior.
