LSA continues to provide value-added services to its members and nothing is more timely now than increasing the focus on health and wellness for program participants

Reston, Virginia (PRWEB) November 13, 2012

AFrame Digital, Inc., a leading provider of mobile wellness solutions supporting at-risk individuals in hospitals, long term care, senior living and independent living settings is partnering with Lutheran Services in America (LSA) to offer mobile health innovations and wellness programs to LSA member organizations.

Lutheran Services in America is more than 300 health and human service organizations throughout the United States. Together, these organizations touch the lives of more than six million people – one in 50 Americans each year – and have aggregated operating budgets of over $18 billion. LSA members include a variety of health and human service organizations, including 200 that provide aging services, such as home health, senior living and long-term providers.

AFrame Digital provides integrated safety, health and wellness solutions to help formal and informal caregivers and clinicians support the independence, mobility and dignity of seniors and individuals of any age with physical or cognitive impairments as they go about their daily activities.

AFrame Digital will work with LSA to develop programs with educational content for LSA member organizations concerning the use of mobile and wireless support technologies for health and wellness, independence, and safety of individuals, implementation in home and facility-based settings, and the integration of these technologies to support successful transitions across the care continuum.

“LSA continues to provide value-added services to its members and nothing is more timely now than increasing the focus on health and wellness for program participants who may need extra services or support to age-in-place, manage disabilities and live as independently as possible while enjoying their normal activities,” explains Bruce Cropf, LSA COO. “After an extensive, year-long evaluation of innovative monitoring solutions on the market, LSA chose AFrame’s flexible, innovative and research-based technologies to offer members seeking easy to use, well designed and comprehensive solutions for their constituents.”

“AFrame Digital is proud to work with LSA and its member organizations on these critical programs,” said Bruce Wilson, AFrame Digital COO. “AFrame is currently working with LSA members in three Pennsylvania locations in PACE settings that have proven to provide significant benefits to resident participants and the member organizations.”
