Don't wait until Spring to start your construction projects, let Vermont surveyor David E. Spurr provide work in the Winter so Spring projects can start on time.

Anything I can do in the summertime, I can also do in the wintertime.

Just because snow is on the ground doesn’t mean land surveys can’t take place.

BLAZE Design, Inc. conducts land surveys year-round for commercial, residential, municipal, and industrial clients. Owner and surveyor David E. Spurr welcomes business in the winter, from boundary, subdivision and topographic land surveying, to commercial and industrial site design and residential and commercial development, with open arms.

“Anything I can do in the summertime, I can also do in the wintertime,” Spurr said.

While most construction companies’ slow time is during the winter, it actually may be better to have land surveying done during this time. Surveyors can provide a head start on the construction process by doing their work ahead of time, so when it’s time for construction, the survey work is already completed. In fact, most of a surveyor’s work is done indoors.

“Most of the time work can’t start until the surveying is done first,” Spurr said. “Instead of waiting for me to start work in the spring, when things are thawed out, I can get to work right now to ensure the project start date isn’t in jeopardy.”
