I want to communicate a message of hope and love that continues to evolve as I walk closer to Jesus.
Colorado Springs, Colo. (PRWEB) November 13, 2012
On Nov. 14, Compassion International will host a special chapel presentation with Nick Vujicic. Vujicic is a popular motivational speaker and the director of Life Without Limbs. Born with no arms or legs, he has become a great inspiration to people around the world, regularly speaking to large crowds about overcoming obstacles and achieving dreams.
During this special event, Vujicic will share stories from his new book, "Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action," and encourage viewers to face the demons of discouragement and despair that stand in the way of fulfilling their purpose.
“I love how God lets us go through difficult challenges to help each other and encourage one another,” says Vujicic. “I want to communicate a message of hope and love that continues to evolve as I walk closer to Jesus.”
The special event will start at 9:00 am MT/11:00 am ET and will be live-streamed on Compassion’s facebook page.
Compassion International is the world’s largest Christian child development organization that permanently releases children from poverty. Founded in 1952, Compassion successfully tackles global poverty one child at a time, serving more than 1.2 million children in 26 of the world’s poorest countries. Recognizing that poverty is more than a lack of money, Compassion works through local churches to holistically address the individual physical, economic, educational and spiritual needs of children—enabling them to thrive, not just survive. Compassion has been awarded eleven consecutive, four-star ratings by Charity Navigator, America’s largest charity evaluator.
