Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 15, 2012
America’s leading organization for the promotion and advocacy of flossing – The National Flossing Council – released a new ad that speculates on the discovery of dental floss on Mars.
The ad suggests that finding the floss would prove there was once intelligent life on the Red Planet – it also speculates at what the intelligent Martians might have looked like.
New footage of the imaginary discovery by the Mars Curiosity Rover was created especially for the celebration of National Flossing Day on Nov. 23, 2012. This marks the 12th year Flossing Day has been celebrated in the United States. National Flossing Day always falls on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
NFC President, Dr Armand Lione, commented on the dramatic footage imagining the accidental discovery of dental floss on one of the wheels of the Mars Curiosity Rover.
“The use of dental floss is clearly a sign of intelligent life, whether it's here on Earth or anywhere else,” Dr Lione said.
“We hope that Earthlings, young and old, will take up flossing with a new enthusiasm after they consider that ancient Martians may have loved flossing as well!”
