Two Women, One Menswear Concept
Mind the Chap was created by retail mavens and seasoned entrepreneurs, Sapna Shah and Lisa Walters for the purpose of providing the style-conscious gentleman a place to find emerging independent designers and brands from all over the globe. After six years visiting over 175,000 stores analyzing retail trends for the financial services industry through their well-respected consultancy, Retail Eye Partners, Lisa and Sapna combined their business savvy, entrepreneurial spirit and keenness for uncovering the “next big thing” into Mind The Chap. Co-founder Sapna Shah states, “Given our experience, we have a unique perspective on the fashion and retail industries because we've been so closely involved in new retail concepts and emerging brands, as well as worked for larger retail organizations like Ann Taylor, Gap and Linens 'n Things. After years of shopping for our husbands, brothers and friends, we've developed a distinct sense for unique brands and ahead-of-the-trend fashion. We're bringing this talent to Mind the Chap customers looking for something new and fresh, and not from the usual labels.”
