One person out of every six around the world speaks English. Without a doubt, it is important to learn this language if one wants to achieve global competency. In her new book “ADVENTURE TALES : for kids who want to become better readers”, author Jean E. Edwards proves that learning the English language can be fun and mastering it can begin at an early age.

Edwards’ book is a collection of short and simple stories that are written and illustrated especially for third grade special education reading intervention groups. It has received rave reviews from the teachers and students at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The tales are imaginative and filled with delightful illustrations and vibrant characters that readers will come to love. Each of the stories features various words written in bold type; this makes it easier for readers to recognize and learn the new words and, ultimately, enhance their vocabulary.

Engaging and truly one of a kind, “ADVENTURE TALES: for kids who want to become better readers” is unique in that it lets children have fun and develop an important skill at the same time.
