Shackles from the Grave is an inspirational fictional romance novel of struggles, pain, hope, and love that gives a profound and lasting message. Let author Cynthia Lynn Stigger take you to a place of deliverance, of faith that moves mountains. She speaks with the voice and characters that are a commonplace in the American experience, relating a powerful message through their stories.
Sylvia is young, beautiful, and a single mother. She is educated and smart, but not smart enough to know when to release those shackles. Now she is stuck with consequences that would lead her to taking on more than just love. If only she had listen to her best friend Angel that was always pushing God on her. Now she is stuck with a decision of either breaking the last two links in the shackles or making it a permanent fixture of her life.
Sylvia’s story touches a familiar cord in the lives of many. The past lives on beyond its makers and shackles succeeding generations with its woes, its tragedies. The author shows a character whose journey typifies how people come to grips with the past, living renewed lives free from its negative influences. Her book is a journey back to God and what people once were – innocent and made for the many possibilities that God meant for them to live.
