We developed these pans with a lower threshold and end drain to provide customers with an easy and sensible solution to meet their full range of needs, including for multigenerational and multi-ability households.
Anaheim, Calif. (PRWEB) November 14, 2012
Aquatic, the world leader in innovative and inspirational bathware, today announced availability of two, new acrylic shower pans that are perfect for homeowners, remodelers, multi-family developers and hotel operators who want to replace existing, prefabricated tub-shower areas and upgrade to shower-only, tile-up applications.
“Interest in remodeling remains strong to accommodate a growing number of lifestyle trends, including multigenerational and multi-ability households,” said Phil Reyes, Product Manager, Aquatic. “We developed these pans with a lower threshold and end drain to provide customers with an easy and sensible solution to meet their full range of needs.”
The new acrylic shower pans are offered in two sizes – 60”x30”x4” and 60”x32”x4” – and feature a subtle, contemporary design with gradual curves, a clean silhouette and no hard edges. They are ideal for use with wall materials such as cultured marble, ceramic tile, granite, other stone and/or glass.
The pans’ flooring is watertight and cleans easily. The lower, 4” threshold and textured bottom ensure safe entry and exit as well as slip resistance while showering.
The end result is the best of all worlds: a more upscale, semi-custom and stylish shower with features for safety, comfort and convenience – all at a moderate price point.
To accommodate existing tub plumbing, the new pans are available with a left- or right-side drain. Standard colors include White, Almond, Biscuit, Bone, Sterling Silver and Linen; premium colors are Black, Mexican Sand and Sand Bar. UPC-listed in the United States and Canada, these products are part of Aquatic’s Everyday line.
Born from the 2010 merger of Lasco Bathware and Aquatic Whirlpools, Aquatic is the world leader in bathware, offering the broadest and most inspiring selection of tubs, showers and accessories.
