The Steve W. Sumner Law Firm was recently awarded the 2012 Business of Integrity Award for Customer Service in the 1-10 employee business category by the Better Business Bureau® and BBB Board of Directors of the Upstate South Carolina.

The firm has demonstrated high ethical standards of behavior towards customers, vendors, and employees, along with having a history of strong ethics in the workplace. By displaying marketing and advertising strategies that reflect a true representation of the product, Steve W. Sumner Law Firm has also been recognized by the community and their industry for sound business practices.

Sumner opened his own practice in 1997 as a criminal defense attorney, with a special focus on defending clients accused of DUI, Felony DUI, all driving offenses and drug cases.

He is a former state court prosecutor, whose primary case load consisted of prosecuting DUI, Felony DUI, Reckless Homicide and Traffic offenses. He graduated from the USC School of Law in 1992.

Sumner currently represents clients in over 25 courts in Upstate South Carolina, including Greenville, Anderson, Spartanburg, Pickens and Laurens counties; as well as the city/municipal courts of Greenville, Anderson, Spartanburg, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Greer, Fountain Inn, Easley, Clemson, Central, and Laurens.
