Nissan's all electric e-NV200 will be going through trials hosted by Coca-Cola, testing it's performance in producing zero-emissions. Business Car Manager has released a new article with more detail.

Coca-Cola Central Japan Co will evaluate the e-NV200’s performance against internal-combustion engine vehicles

COCO-COLA is about to fizz-up its green credentials with the trialling of Nissan’s all-electric e-NV200 for regional sales duties around the Japanese city of Yokohama.

Nissan has provided the e-NV200 in a partnership deal to test the zero-emissions van and garner feedback on its prowess in meeting commercial demands. The test results will help fine-tune the forthcoming commercial version.

Coca-Cola Central Japan Co will evaluate the e-NV200’s performance and practical usability against conventional internal-combustion engine vehicles.

The van will be recharged only at night when electricity consumption is low. The test will determine if the nightly charge is sufficient to meet user needs during the day

Nissan has already road tested the e-NV200 this year with several other major companies, including AEON Retail, FedEx Express and British Gas in Japan and Europe. Feedback from field testing is used to refine and enhance the final development of the production e-NV200 model, scheduled to launch by fiscal year 2014.

The e-NV200 business van will be Nissan's second mass-produced 100% EV. It follows Nissan LEAF, the world's first globally produced EV for the consumer market.
