G4S Nears Veterans’ Hiring Commitment to White House ‘Joining Forces’ Campaign

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) is quickly approaching its 2013 goal of hiring more than 6,000 returning military veterans as part of the White House’s ‘Joining Forces’ Campaign. As of November 2012, the company has hired more than 5,500 former military personnel.

(Jupiter, FL) For Immediate Release: G4S Secure Solutions (USA) is quickly approaching its 2013 goal of hiring more than 6,000 returning military veterans as part of the White House’s ‘Joining Forces’ Campaign. As of November 2012, the company has hired more than 5,500 former military personnel. G4S was one of the first companies to join the Joining Forces Program went it was launched more than one year ago.

The Joining Forces campaign was launched at Camp Lejeune in April 2011, when First Lady Michele Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of the Vice President, announced details. The comprehensive national initiative mobilizes large and small companies and non-profits in an effort to give service members and their families the opportunity and support they have earned.
