Sleep City Receives the Hunger's Hope Award

It’s such an honor to be part of something that helps our communities in such a big way

Missoula, MT (PRWEB) November 15, 2012

Jed and Jennifer Heggen, owners of Sleep City, have been unanimously selected for this year’s Hunger’s Hope Award from the Montana Food Bank Network.

The Hunger’s Hope Award is the organization’s most prestigious award provided to donors, corporations and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in their efforts and have made significant impacts to assist in ending hunger in Montana. Through Sleep City’s partnership with NBC MT, “Don’t Let Montanans Go To Sleep Hungry,” nearly 350,000 meals have been donated to hungry Montanans across the state.

“It’s such an honor to be part of something that helps our communities in such a big way,” says Marketing Director, Patti Earling. “So many people are struggling right now, it’s so important to make sure families have access to the help they need.”
Montana Food Bank Network presented the award to the Heggen’s and Sleep City at the annual Chef’s Affair Gala in Missoula on November 10th at the Governor’s Room in the Florence Building
