Unispace Completes Design and Fitout at AMEC Headquarters in Perth, WA

Global workplace design firm Unispace have recently completed their engagement as Design and Construct Contractor for AMEC Minproc Ltd’s seven floor, 7,500sqm fitout at 197 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia. The project was undertaken by Unispace under Project Director John Bechara.

Global workplace design firm Unispace have recently completed their engagement as Design and Construct Contractor for AMEC Minproc Ltd’s seven floor, 7,500sqm fitout at 197 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia. The project was undertaken by Unispace under Project Director John Bechara.

In 2011, a decision was made by AMEC Mining and Metals to amalgamate their Perth operations from four CBD locations to 197 St Georges Terrace, Perth.

Due to the magnitude of the required 7300m fitout, AMEC proceeded to identify a suitable partnership company who would be able to deliver a full design, documentation and construction solution and also one who knew the West Australian market.

A thorough review process included detailed proposals, presentations and reference checks of five established and reputable companies. Unispace demonstrated the experience, competitiveness, professionalism and capability that enabled AMEC to move forward with confidence.

The comprehensive and inclusive design package by Unispace demonstrated that the Unispace team listened and understood AMEC’s company's vision and goals. The Unispace team of designers, consultants and builders were extremely skillful in the way they guided the project design in consultation with AMEC to achieve the workplace environment they envisaged.
