In response to an article detailing a debt collection scheme, Rapid Recovery Solution releases a statement on what consumers should do to stay safe.

On November 21, Rapid Recovery Solution responds to an article on detailing a recent string of collection agency scams.

According to the article, a Lexington, KY couple recently received a phone call from a man claiming that he would arrest them unless they paid off a $4,500 debt immediately. However, this was all a scam. According to the article, the perpetrator “legally obtained lists of people who had recently paid off debt. He then called them and bullied them into believing they owed even more.”

John Monderine, CEO of Rapid Recovery Solution, is concerned by the article and wants to make sure that all consumers know their rights when it comes to debt collection. “It’s people like this guy who give the rest of us a bad name. Consumers should rest assured that no legitimate debt collection company would ever use such shady—and obviously illegal—tactics, to get the money that their client owes. Debt collection is one of the most regulated industries in the country, with a long list of rules and protocols designed to protect everyone involved. Thankfully, these schemers were caught. In order to make sure that things like these don’t happen in the future, I urge all companies that have outstanding debt to only work with reputable debt collection agencies. That’s the only way that you can keep everybody safe.”

Founded in 2006, Rapid Recovery Solution, Inc. is headquartered at the highest point of beautiful Long Island. Rapid Recovery Collection Agency is committed to recovering your funds. We believe that every debtor has the ability to pay if motivated correctly. We DO NOT alienate the debtors; we attempt to align with them and offer a number of ways to resolve not only your debt but also all their debts.
