MODSIM World 2013 will join theory and practice across government, industry, academia and research, providing for a free interchange of information, knowledge, and technology.
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) November 16, 2012
National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), has announced that MODSIM World 2013 will take place April 30 – May 2, 2013, at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.
Encompassing multiple applications of this near-universal technology, MODSIM World 2013 will join theory and practice across government, industry, academia and research, providing for an open interchange of information, knowledge, and technology. The vast and varied world of modeling and simulation technology will be on full display at MODSIM World 2013, a multi-disciplinary event that is unique in its promise to reduce knowledge and practice barriers among all users of modeling and simulation.
Sure to attract local, national and international attendance, MODSIM World will address the state of M&S in healthcare and medical education, manufacturing, defense, transportation, human behavior research, emergency response, disaster preparedness, cyber security, construction, energy generation and exploration, space exploration, and defense and security.
Its cross-cutting emphasis makes MODSIM World 2013 the perfect complement to I/ITSEC, the other major event sponsored by NTSA. I/ITSEC provides the industry's premier business to business and business to government venue, with MODSIM World taking place six months later and focusing on technology demonstration/technology integration. MODSIM World also provides a venue for the M&S industry and community to meet once every six months, rather than every year at I/ITSEC alone.
Exhibitors are welcome to book early space at MODSIM World 2013. Past exhibitors include: Lockheed Martin, Boeing, NASA, Mymic, Northrop Grumman, NATO and VMASC, as well as many others who have expressed interest in returning to MODSIM World 2013.
