The Bryan Clay Foundation (BCF) will hold its second annual Fit4Fall 5K on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Join 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Bryan Clay and his friends and supporters as they take to the streets of Glendora, CA. The race will begin and end at Glendora’s City Hall. Proceeds of the event will benefit BCF in support of its health and wellness programs that benefit the Glendora School District. In light of the holiday season, BCF will be partnering with Shepard’s Pantry and New Unto Others to collect canned foods and clothing for families in need. All participants who donate a minimum of three (3) canned goods or one (1) bag of clothing (on race day) will receive five dollars ($5) cash back from their registration fee. Each participant will receive a goody-bag full of prizes as well as a t-shirt.
Bib pick-up for the event begins at 7:00am and a welcome ceremony, hosted by Bryan Clay will take place at 8:45am, followed immediately by the 5K. Frisella’s Roastery on Glendora Ave will be hosting a lunch at noon following the awards ceremony with a portion of their proceeds benefitting BCF.
Bryan’s corporate sponsors as well as local business have been invited to the event and will be participating in a Fall Festival with food, drinks, music, and family friendly activities, before and after the 5K.
