With Go Social Film, film lovers can watch entire short films, read interviews with the filmmakers, and then interact with them via social media, all from within the magazine’s pages.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2012
Launched at the Cannes Film Festival, May 2012, Go Social Film is on a mission to bring film lovers and filmmakers together on the iPad and redefine what a digital film magazine can be. Each monthly issue of the magazine features entire short films streamed to readers’ iPads, along with in-depth filmmaker interviews exploring the films’ production backstory.
“Today’s technology allows us to expand beyond the traditional print magazine format to deliver films and multimedia content of all sorts. With Go Social Film, film lovers can watch entire short films, read interviews with the filmmakers, and then interact with them via social media, all from within the magazine’s pages. It’s an amazing time for the next generation of digital magazine publishers.” Jason Rogan, Artistic Director, Go Social Film Magazine
Recent Go Social Film issues have included the special Festival In Focus issue showcasing films from the San Jose International Short Film Festival, and the October Halloween issue presenting a selection of international horror films. This month, the magazine will feature the first ever winner of the Sundance London Short Film Competition, Extranjero, by filmmakers Daniel Lumb and Crinan Campbell.
