Gramble Team Wins Award

It’s an honor for the Gramble team to win this award and it further validates our hard work and focus as we get set to unveil Gramble to gamers, developers and charities around the world.

Gramble, the charity-driven social-gaming network where players, developers, and charities come together, has been awarded the 2012 ‘Baby Tycoon’ entrepreneur award, naming it the Netherlands’ Start-Up of the Year.

Gramble was chosen by judges as the unanimous winner over three other finalists due to the company’s unique business model. The jury praised the company for its innovative approach and fit within the rapidly growing social and mobile gaming space. Gramble also earned high marks for its focus on making the world a better place – through gaming. The prize package, valued at over $13,000 USD, included a cash prize, legal support, advertising, media, publicity, and a photo shoot.

“It’s an honor for the Gramble team to win this award, and it further validates our hard work and focus as we get set to unveil Gramble to players, developers, and charities around the world,” says Gramble founder, Adam Palmer. “Our goal is to offer an unprecedented social-gaming network where developers will thrive, players will have a great time, and charities will benefit.”

Gramble works by integrating charitable donations directly into its offerings of high-quality, competitive mobile games featuring unprecedented social interaction. For example, players can purchase in-game items to use across multiple titles, and a percentage of that purchase will go to the charities of the player's choice.

Palmer summarizes the Gramble mission: “We want to make the world a better place through fun social games and reinvent the way people donate to charity.”

Gramble launched in stealth mode at the end of last month, and will soon be going into private beta. Gramble’s games will first launch on Gramble’s web app (at Gramble.com), with App Store and Google Play downloads to follow. For more information visit GrambleWorld.com.
