Wireless ELF 2 takes the concept of a turnkey, user-friendly load measurement system one-step further by eliminating cumbersome wires and enabling your laptop or PC to quickly capture and store force data. This revolutionary system offers greater flexibility for countless applications, including any force measurement application involving a mobile subject. The new wireless version of the already successful ELF System allows customers greater freedom and flexibility in using force and pressure sensors in their product research, quality assurance, and testing.
Wireless ELF 2 combines ultra-thin (0.008”) piezoresistive FlexiForce single-element load sensors with a battery-operated Wi-Fi transmitter (certified 802.11b radio- 802.11 b/g/n compatible) and simple software. The software displays real-time force data in pounds, grams, or Newtons. Users can select whether to view the data digitally, or in chart format. Data can also be saved as “movie files” to play back later and/or be saved in ASCII format and exported to data analysis programs.
The WELF2 system has sampling rates up to 200 Hz and is also available in a high-speed version with sampling rates up to 6,000 Hz. The system has multi-handle capabilities and can support up to 16 WiFi transmitters. The high-speed version has a limitation of 8 handles. The WiFi connection setup also has ad hoc and access point (unsecured router) network capability. An unsecured router is required for multi-handle use.
