Northwest Lighting Systems Introduces the Retrobracket

Federal energy policy has resulted in ceased production of many popular types of 8-foot fluorescent lamps. Northwest Lighting Systems Co. in Burnsville, Minnesota offers a solution with its Retrobracket product. The Retrobracket converts T12 eight-foot fixtures to 2L or 4L F32T8 fixtures.

Northwest Lighting Systems Co., headquartered in Burnsville, MN, is pleased to introduce the Retrobracket fixture converter. The Retrobracket is designed to convert outdated T12 eight-foot fluorescent fixtures to more modern 2L or 4L F32T8 fixtures. Federal legislation has resulted in manufacturers discontinuing many of the older fixtures and lamps, making them harder to find should they need to be replaced.

Eight-foot fluorescent fixtures are commonplace in warehouses, manufacturing facilities and other places with wide-open spaces requiring plenty of lighting. According to Northwest Lighting Systems, replacing those fixtures doesn't make sense if they are still functioning properly. At the same time, trying to find eight-foot fluorescent lamps is difficult and inconvenient. The Retrobracket solves both problems conveniently and inexpensively.

Northwest Lighting Systems says that as long as customers are going to replace ballasts it only makes sense to install the Retrobracket and use the same F32T8 lamps commonly found in office areas. Furthermore, converting eight-foot strip fixtures to four F32T8 lamps saves as much as 30 watts per fixture and may make some customers eligible for utility rebates. Additional cost savings will be realized down the road when F32T8 components are less expensive than older F96T12 and F96T8 components.

Northwest Lighting Systems Co. provides wholesale replacement parts and lighting fixtures for commercial and industrial lighting purposes. The company has been in business for more than 21 years and operates warehouses in Minnesota, Arizona, and New Hampshire.
