2020 Women on Boards welcomes three new Affiliate Organizations to the campaign, MBA Women International, Women in Technology and Women Executive Leadership. 2020 Affiliates play a critical role in the success of the 2020 Campaign by helping to grow its base of supporters and communicating with stakeholders across the country that it's time to put more women on corporate boards. Nonprofit organizations and educational institutions that support the 2020 Women on Boards' mission are welcome to affiliate with the 2020 Campaign.
Women Executive Leadership, Inc. (WEL), was created in 1999 by a group of South Florida businesswomen. WEL’s primary mission is to advocate, educate and connect accomplished women with the goal of increasing the number of women serving on Corporate Boards and in Executive Leadership. WEL helps companies diversify their boards and increase their talent pool, and helps female executives expand their influence and increase their visibility by providing a forum where executive women can unite, network, and leverage best practices within an organization of their peers.
MBA Women International is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering female business professionals, to assisting women into leadership positions in business, and to enhancing the diversity of the workforce worldwide. We serve four related client groups: female MBA students, female business professionals and entrepreneurs, universities and corporate partners.
Women in Technology (WIT) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of advancing women in technology—from the classroom to the boardroom—by providing advocacy, leadership development, networking, mentoring and technology education. With nearly 1000 members in the Washington, D.C.-area, WIT strives to meet its vision of being the premier organization empowering women to be architects of change in the technology industry.
