Having a well-thought out quiz in each area makes it quick and easy for radiology faculty to make assignments to their residents
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) November 27, 2012
RADPrimer introduces new features and functionality for both trainees and faculty with this 2.2 release. New features for residents include a major increase in case challenge quiz questions. Case challenge questions are the most popular feature according to resident feedback. These new additions bring the total to over 2,700 quiz questions in the case challenge bank.
New features for faculty include RADPrimer Standardized Assessments, a series of quizzes designed to make RADPrimer easier to use. These prebuilt, standardized quizzes, assembled by expert radiologists in each specialty area, save faculty members time and effort. All eleven disciplines are equipped with a basic standardized quiz. The first five quizzes in the areas of Neuroradiology, OB, Breast, Abdomen, MSK and IR are live. The remaining six will launch shortly after RSNA.
“A great deal of thought has gone into the creation of our standardized quizzes in an effort to make life a little easier for the residency faculty,” says Dr. Ric Harnsberger MD, Professor of Radiology at University of Utah and Amirsys Co-CEO. “Having a well-thought out quiz in each area makes it quick and easy for radiology faculty to make assignments to their residents”, reports Christian Davidson, MD, Radiology Residency Director at University of Utah. “Faculty can use the standard quizzes, or they can customize the quizzes as needed.”
RADPrimer provides educational content aligned to the curriculum for radiology residents and provides residents a means to master this curriculum through both learning and testing modes.
