Neal Tops 500 Mark With 61 Home Sales In October

Lakewood Ranch-based builder tops 2011's annual sales figure with two months left this year to garner more sales success.

With new homes sales coming from 14 different neighborhoods, Lakewood Ranch-based builder Neal Communities sold 61 new homes in October, 110 percent more than the same month a year ago.

For the year, the builder-developer has recorded 503 new home sales, exactly 100 more than all of last year. That represents a 25 percent increase with two months in this year to go.

It’s all adding up to another record year for the national, award-winning firm headed by company namesake and President, Pat Neal. “We’re offering beautiful new homes across a wide spectrum of locations, housing product types, and price ranges that appeal to not only first-time homebuyers, but also families, empty-nesters, and retirees,” said Neal. “We couldn’t be more pleased by the overwhelming responses we’ve received from our customers.”

Grand Palm, Neal’s new planned active-lifestyle community in Venice, contributed seven sales last month. Four new models are now underway at Grand Palm and new amenities under construction are set to open in the first quarter.

Central Park at Lakewood Ranch continued to lead the way attracting eleven new homebuyers. Forest Creek, in Parrish, saw eight sales, and River’s Reach, another Manatee County development near Parrish along the Manatee River, had five sales.

Fairfield, Neal’s newest community, located off State Road 70 west of I-75, showed strong pre-grand opening interest, recording seven sales last month. Officially opening this weekend, plans for the gated community call for 140 paired villas with a recreation center, pool, outdoor kitchen, and spa.

Neal also sold four homes each in its Miramar and Arlington Cove communities. Miramar features fairway townhomes overlooking the Legacy Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch. Arlington Cove, a community of 76-paired villas in Englewood, offers luxury vacation-style homes near a variety of shopping and leisure destinations.
