On November 27, representative for Likewise Skincare Lisa Shariat adds to an article on Huffington Post giving some helpful tips for washing your face.
November is National Healthy Skin Month, and a recent Huffington Post article gave seven helpful tips on washing your face. The article said that “while a quick splash of water and some soap might be all you need, there are some subtle things you may be doing that could be the cause of excessive drying, oily skin or even those dreaded breakouts.”
Some of the tips included using exfoliants sparingly, using icy cold or lukewarm water rather than hot water and patting your face dry. The tips were given by board-certified dermatologist Jessica Krant, M.D., M.P.H.
In response to the article, Lisa Shariat – a representative for Likewise Skincare – added a few more basic tips. “People should also consider using a moisturizer after washing their faces,” Shariat said. “Everyone has different skin, and when choosing a face wash and moisturizer, consumers should also be aware of what kind of face wash will work best on their skin.”
