Abu Dhabi, UAE (PRWEB) November 20, 2012
During the World Health Care Congress – Middle East in Abu Dhabi, 9-11 December, World Congress will be hosting the World Connected Health Care Congress running as a track. Mobile health and connected health technologies such as telemedicine have the potential to transform healthcare. Lowering the cost of care delivery across whole disease pathways and delivering low cost care in new ways to people who would otherwise have no access.
This important new international event from World Congress has been developed as a global forum to enable sharing between health systems and to drive forwards the delivery of connected health care internationally. It is an opportunity to hear the key evidence and best practice guidance needed to mainstream mHealth and Telehealth, and will deliver information needed to overcome the challenges that still currently prevent large scale deployment.
“It is a great forum. Very essential in bringing people together to understand more about the different health systems in view of the current financial issues. It will open the venue to search for research projects and models of collaboration.”- H.E. Prof. Mohamed Jawad Khalifeh, Professor, Surgery, Head, General Surgery Division, American University of Beirut; Former Minister of Health Lebanon
Some of the topics that The World Connected Health Care Congress will tackle through exclusive discussions and keynotes are:
- Engaging the entire local health community to form eco-systems which facilitate the adoption and delivery of mobile and connected health solutions in a region
- Developing the mobile technology that enables clinical professionals to remotely share information in real time
- Determining the specific healthcare scenarios where mobile health and telehealth can add value, improve access to high quality care and reduce the cost of healthcare delivery
Delegates attending the World Health Care Congress Middle East will have full access to the World Connected Health Care Congress.
