Ticketscript, Europe’s leading social and mobile ticketing tool, has released an updated version of their ticketshop that includes Facebook authentication for ticket buyers.

The ticketshop has gone through a cosmetic update to optimise the user experience across multiple devices, including tablets. With tablet saturation increasing this update is key for the digitally engaged event organiser. Alongside this update Facebook connect has also been enabled across all ticketshops. Ticketscript has shown a 185% increase in tickets purchased through Facebook this year, when compared to the whole of last year, so this was an important update to capitalise on the strong growth of f-commerce in the events industry.

“Buying a ticket should be as easy as possible, irrespective of the device you use.”, says Joep Lecluse, group marketing director at ticketscript. “Adding this one-click user authentication, makes it even easier for consumers to buy tickets and therefore increases the conversion rates for event organisers.”

As well as these updates event organisers will still be able to access all the previous benefits of using a ticketshop that has the deepest Facebook integration. Ticketscript will continue to focus on using social media channels to help event organisers maximise ticket sales.
