Communities In Schools, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life, is proud to announce its partnership with Gap for their new gift card program. Launching this holiday, Gap will donate a percentage of all initial Gap GiftCard purchases to nonprofit organizations Communities In Schools and CARE.
Donations to Communities In Schools will help more than one million students stay in school and on track to a brighter future. CARE donations will in part support P.A.C.E. (Personal Achievement and Career Enhancement), a program started by Gap Inc. in 2007 to provide female garment workers with education and training to better their lives.
Gap commissioned a hand-selected group of artists and illustrators to create one-of-a-kind graphic designs for the gift card envelope. The envelope design chosen by Gap GiftCard consumers will determine the organization – Communities In Schools or CARE – that receives a percentage of the purchase price.
