It is now three weeks until the leading offshore wind health and safety industry event. The Offshore Wind Health and Safety Summit, taking place in Copenhagen on the 5-6th December, is selling out fast. Last week we saw a surge in bookings and numbers have now reached over 60! The top health and safety executives will be in attendance at the only industry event that is designed to improve the offshore wind industry's safety culture and reduce the amount of incidents of offshore projects.
The conference will be focusing on access options, emergency response, regulation harmonisation and training. There will be an increased focus on safety culture which will help you to reduce the frequency of HSE incidents offshore. This year’s summit has attracted some of the leaders in offshore wind health and safety including Claus Rose, Head of EHS from Siemens Wind Power and also the chairman of the GWO who will speak on “What is the right training for your team?” Also speaking at the event is Roland Gutbrod, Senior Manager HSSE & Quality from RWE Innogy who will discuss “Behind the scene HSE talks at RWE”. To compliment these great speakers we also have Statoil, Mainstream Renewables, RES Offshore, DONG Energy, Vestas and Gamesa who will be participating as speakers and panellists.
In attendance and registered to attend are the health and safety managers from: A2SEA, ABB, Gardline Marine Sciences, GDF Suez, MT Hojgaard, NIRAS, Northern Offshore Services, REpower, Seaway Heavy Lifting, Siemens Wind Power…. With so many people meeting in one place we want to ensure that the networking opportunities are utilised to ensure delegates generate business leads! To help delegates uncover new business opportunities and locate new strategic alliances we have put together the following networking opportunities: pre-conference meeting planner, speed networking, round table discussions, networking drinks and a delegate dinner.
Today has also seen the release of the online networking planner which enables delegates to personally connect with confirmed attendees three weeks prior to the summit. With over 65 delegates already confirmed this is an excellent opportunity to meet the key industry figures who can assist you in reaching your low incident targets.
