These promotions illustrate the popular opinion of the property as an affordable, comfortable and well-located place to stay in Newport, as noted by Rachel Ray and The New York Times.
Newport, RI (PRWEB) November 22, 2012
After a year of celebrating the Admiral Fitzroy Inn’s 25th anniversary, and many updates to the property, the proprietors of this historic Thames Street inn, have launched a new website, a slogan to mimic the friendly atmosphere, and special holiday packages for the upcoming holidays from November through February 2013. Each of the bed and breakfasts’ special promotions aligns with local happenings in Newport so guests can get the most of their visit, for the lowest rate possible. Visitors will enjoy the inn's prime location right in the heart of downtown Newport, with easy access to all events hosted and sponsored by the visitors’ bureau. See below for details:
November – Thankful for … food!
In addition to Newport’s famous Restaurant Week, which was held this year from November 2-11, the Admiral Fitzroy Inn is also offering a “Culinary Classic Cuisine” package. The promotion includes a two-night stay, a bottle of wine, two stem-less Admiral Fitzroy wine glasses, handmade Newport Chocolates, signature continental breakfast, and complimentary parking, plus dinner for two at your choice of the following restaurant week participants – Café Zelda, The Mooring, The Deck, or Fluke Wine Bar & Kitchen. Rates for the two-night package start at $286, and vary based on what nights are booked.
December – Shopping, Pampering, Dining and Sightseeing
Every year Newport opens select mansions for a visual extravaganza during holiday season, in the popular event Christmas at the Newport Mansions. To supplement the program, The Admiral Fitzroy Inn is also offering a 10% discount at select Lower Thames Street Shops, a $50 gift certificate towards dinner at a local restaurant, a manicure and hand massage at a salon, a bottle of wine or champagne and a box of handmade Newport Chocolates, plus a signature continental breakfast and complimentary parking. “Holiday Happiness” rates for two nights start at $301, and vary based on what nights are booked.
January – Start the year off with new experiences.
Local events in Newport during January are not very common, so our bed and breakfast inn has put together a package to encourage new experiences aligned with starting the New Year. In addition to two nights’ accommodations, “Joyful January” includes two tickets to the Newport Seal Safari, two tickets to the Family Skating Center, a $50 gift certificate towards dinner at a local restaurant, plus continental breakfast and complimentary parking. Rates start at $317.
February – Love is in the Air
You don’t have to be in love to enjoy Newport in February, just bring anyone you love. We’ve had mothers and daughters come visit, two close friends explore town, and of course couples like it too. Our package is uniquely available only for two nights, February 14-16, and includes a $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant, a bottle of wine or champagne on arrival, a box of Newport Chocolates, a bouquet of fresh flowers, breakfast in bed, and complimentary parking. The timing is just right, so after Valentine’s day, you can enjoy the first night of the Newport Winter Festival, which will be celebrating its 25th year February 15 - 24. Rates are $340 for a queen, $380 for a king, and $420 for a king with deck.
Innkeeper Angela Craig is happy with the changes, “This year we’ve updated many of the rooms, re-launched the web site, and added a blog, so we are celebrating with these special holiday packages.” She adds, “These promotions illustrate the popular opinion of the property as an affordable, comfortable and well-located place to stay in Newport, as noted by New York Times and Rachel Ray.”
