FiberCloud, a recognized leader in cloud services, announced today that it has recently expanded its executive management team, welcoming Vice President of Sales Brenda Brooks, Director of Operations & Engineering Michael Mazarakis, and Director of Product Development Michael Leo to the organization. FiberCloud’s significant growth over this past year was a key catalyst for the expansion of the executive team.
Brenda Brooks, Vice President of Sales, sees that as cloud services continue to emerge and become widely embraced by the business community, opportunities abound for FiberCloud, locally and nationally. She will be expanding FiberCloud’s direct sales team, as well as FiberCloud’s growing partner channels. Organizations with which she has previously worked include Matrix Telecommunications, Inter-Tel Technologies/Mitel, and Crexendo Business Solutions.
Michael Mazarakis, Director of Operations & Engineering, is a proven visionary when it comes to building out complex global networks. At FiberCloud, his role will be to extend FiberCloud’s highly secure datacenter infrastructure and diverse network. Mike has expertise in network and datacenter design, network optimization, and network and systems security, and his past positions include roles with RealNetworks, Motricity, Isilon Systems, and Internap Network Services.
Michael Leo, Director of Product Development, has brought products to market in large and small company environments with a strong operational focus to ensure that the entire product experience is delivered to customers. Mike will be driving the expansion of FiberCloud’s product portfolio and focused product marketing efforts for the company’s product offerings. Prior to joining FiberCloud, he worked in product management and marketing for WatchGuard Technologies, RealNetworks, and Nortel.
FiberCloud CEO Sue DeFlorio says, ”The increasing interest in cloud services, and the ease with which organizations of all sizes can now cost-effectively access the cloud, has grown our business dramatically. With the addition of Brenda and “the two Mikes,” we plan on aggressively taking our services to the next level.” Even with these new hires, FiberCloud is still looking to grow even further.
